Hennepin County (MN) Library produced a 13-minute, beautiful
video for parents to help them
understand ways to support early literacy as they talk, sing, read, write, and
play with their children, noting specifically the connections to early literacy
and later reading. The first eleven minutes of the video relate to early literacy and
libraries in general, which makes it useful for all libraries! Please credit the Hennepin County Library if you use it! A DVD is also available, and they are working on a resource guide as a companion to the video.
