Welcome!

Welcome to this latest attempt to connect librarians from west-central Wisconsin with each other! Please send in content (booklists, ideas, photos, etc.), and comment on posts so we can help each other. If you were using feedmyinbox to get new posts sent to you before, you'll need to switch to another service (blogtrottr works like feedmyinbox, googlereader is a good blog-reader to try).

Zero to Three recently put together a lovely PDF for parents and caregivers, talking about the effect of music on very young children, including suggestions for activities and ideas about how various ages may interact with--and benefit from--music.  Number one recommendation?  Sing and hum to babies and toddlers!  This might be an interesting handout or resource to share with families, especially if you have a music-related program for young ones.
