Young kids need opportunities to develop their fine motor skills. Many of you incorporate letting kids develop those skills at storytime with art project--kids practice cutting, drawing, painting, picking up small objects, etc. I found a fun post at No Time for Flashcards recently with 25 playful ways to work on fine motor skills--some take a lot of prep and would work best for families to do at home, but others look like a lot of fun to try at the library. Let me know if you try them, what you think!
