Welcome to this latest attempt to connect librarians from west-central Wisconsin with each other! Please send in content (booklists, ideas, photos, etc.), and comment on posts so we can help each other. If you were using feedmyinbox to get new posts sent to you before, you'll need to switch to another service (blogtrottr works like feedmyinbox, googlereader is a good blog-reader to try).

Pssst...Pass it on!

If you work with teachers or school librarians who are in easy driving distance to Eau Claire, please pass on this information to them--they will be happy to know about it. Thanks to Jill at the library in Eau Claire for tipping us off!

Did you know that the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library has a diecut machine
and over 200 dies for you to use? Just bring your own paper any time the
library is open, and you can cut letters and shapes and make a bulletin board in
just minutes!

Need a jump start on bulletin board ideas? Please join us for Project Night on Thursday, August 19th at 6:30 pm. We will have many examples of bulletin boards to inspire you, and will provide materials for several sample projects. But the sky’s the limit! Bring additional materials and you could complete all the displays you need for your classroom in one night! Registration is required as space is limited for this event.

To register, please call 715-839-5007, email us at ysstaff@eauclaire.lib.wi.us, or
stop by the Youth Services Desk at the Public Library.
